How will you surprise your relatives?
Ok, Im sure this question has been asked numerous times but..
How will you surprise your relatives once you find out you're pregnant?
My answer: I have no clue! I was thinking of either buying a onesie that says, "I love my Grandparents" or something along those lines or maybe buying my dog a shirt that says, "Big brother to be"

the first time we were pregnant I gave the in laws gifts like a baby photo album and a grandma apron, and they just looked up with big smiles so they figured it out right away I'm not sure if we'd do anything special this time since the first pregnancy was a miscarriage, we will hold off on telling everyone though....too many people knew the first time and it made it all the more difficult to tell people about the m/c

Since I'm doing IVF, everyone pretty much knows when I'm going to find out .......... but I told my mom if it's good news, I'll come to her house to tell her in person! If she gets a phone call .. its not good news.

with DS I found out the week after Christmas that I was pregnant. We wrapped up a onesie that said "worth the wait" in Christmas paper with a card from the "baby" that said, Merry Christmas, cant wait to spend next christmas with you. I promise Ill be worth the 9 month wait. Love, your grandchild-to-be.
We went to my parents and my ILs and pretended we forgot to give them a gift and left it behind on Christmas day on accident and were giving it to them now.
It was the best....it was like the 2nd time in my life I had ever seen my dad cry!
This time, whenever we conceive #2, I think Ill just tell them.

I like the idea that others have given for taking a family photo and instead of saying "cheese" saying..."we're preggo"
But, I doubt DH will be diggity down so we will prob just tell them. My father & his wife live out of state so we will just call they and tell them.

That's awesome - I may do the same!
For my pregnancy with DD we waited a long time to tell b/c I had m/c before her. I made my Mom a scrapbook page with the u/s picture and the due date. For my siblings we got Uncle and Aunt to Be magnets.
I was pregnant this past summer and had a m/c. Before the m/c I bought my DD a Big Sis t-shirt with her name on it and will have her wear that. Just hoping I get pregnant while she still fits in it!

SIL keeps saying she wants a card with a sono pic that says I cant wait to meet you Aunt J!!! So Im actually considering doing something along those lines.

I'd like to have SD in t-shirt that says "Big Sis to Be" or something along those lines. Not sure if I'll get to do that or not since everyone will pretty much figure it out when I turn down a glass of wine/alcohol.
