8th night of stims and follie check

So I had a follie check this morning. Tonight will be my 9th night of stims for IVF. They increased my dose a few nights ago to 2 menopur vials (from 1 originally) and I stayed at 150 Gonal-F. My RE said this morning I have about 8 follies around 14 and I'm a little slower in stimming.

I was really surprised because for all my iui cycles I was such a fast responder. I asked if this was good/bad. She said it's not good, not bad. She said most people are on stims for 8-12 days. I'll probably be on them towards the longer end. She said the end goal is the same and it's not a rush. As long as they are growing, it's good. 2 days ago they were around 12.

She did say I have a few smaller ones which may catch up, but we'll see. I'm a little bummed. I know 8 is good. But, there's no telling how many eggs that is. I'm scared it'll be like 4 or 5 eggs (if I'm lucky) and again who know how they'll fertilize? I was hoping to have enough for frosties.

Ugghh...I want to turn my brain off. It looks like I'm going in every day now for monitoring. I have no idea where they'll get blood from as my arms look horrific from all the blood that's been taken already.

Guess I'm just looking for reassurance. Tell me it'll be ok (even if it won't ).

I am currently in my first IVF cycle, so I don't have very much incite yet but I just wanted to send you some

I am currently on day 6 of stimming. My last appointment was on day 4 and I only had 3 small follicles on the left side and nothing on the right. They increased my follistim from 150 to 250. I go back tomorrow so we will see what happens then.

It will be ok

I know its so easy to get wrapped up in and analyze every little #, appointment, blood result, etc. but that is what you pay the doctors good $ for, let them WORRY about it all. Try to have faith in the process, your doctors, your body the universe , you WILL get thru this. Things can change SO quickly.

Well I went to the doctor today and I have a few small follies on the right and a few small ones on the left. And I have one measuring 12 on the left. I'm a little concerned myself. I only have one good sized follicle. Doesn't that seem a little off????? Shouldn't I have more at this point. They haven't increase my doses either. I hope you are having better success.
