How is Great Neck as a neighborhood?
We are thinking about buying a one-family in Great Neck -- what do you think of the neighborhood? Is it family friendly?

I love great neck - there is a great town and beautiful parks. There are a lot of older homes that are beautiful. However, every time i am there it seems like everyone is stressed out and in a hurry. Everyone is beeping at one another. I worry that someone will run me over with my stroller because it's taking me too long to cross the street. It's really too bad though because it's a beautiful place.
