teas....
I was talking to my girlfriend this morning, explaining that I wasn't hungry, but was drinking decaf lemon lift and forcing myself to eat the nutrigrain bar I brought with me, and she told me no herbal teas....
i ended up dumping the tea and having a plain lipton's decaf.
What kind of flavor teas can I have? I like a little taste since I don't like sugar in my tea.

Re: teas....
Most teas that you can buy at the supermarket are fine. I'd stay away from anything loose you'd get from a small health food store, but a big-name brand is okay.
According to AmericanPregnancy.org:
"Herbal tea companies, such as Celestial Seasonings, report that they do not use any herbs that are considered dangerous and choose to use herbs from guidelines that the FDA has published. The herbal teas that are considered to be unsafe are those that are not made commercially, those made with excessive amounts of herbs (amounts larger than those found in common foods or drinks), or those made with herbs that are known to be toxic."
Lots of info on teas.

Re: teas....
I read in some of my baby books that herbal teas are not good for pregnancy because an herb is a drug.
I can't recall if that was in the expecting book or the YOU being pregnant book. Or one of the other's I read.
But I've been holding off on my vanilla chai herbal tea for this reason.
