Yeast Infection???

I have a yeast infection and the Dr gave me the prescription for Diflucan but it says it is unsafe in the 1st trimester. I highly doubt I am pg this month because I was sick and I ran out of OPKs before I got my smiley. We didn't Chat Icon at the right time, I am pretty sure of that. I don't want to take the pill until I am sure I am not pg which won't be before Tues or Wed the earliest, any natural remedy suggestions????

I think it would be fine to take. Even if everything worked this month, you don't share a blood supply with the baby for the first few weeks.....

That's my opinion but maybe someone else knows better......

Definitely yogurt!

But also, if the infection is bad, I would take a HPT, and if it comes up as a BFN I would take what the Dr. prescribed. If you are still too early to get a BFP, you won't be doing any damage to the baby if you take it. Chat Icon

But I would try the yogurt for a day and see if it helps any since you feel uncomfortable with the meds.
