I know I'm being needy but...
it's 9dpo and I caved and tested and it was a BFN but my temps look like they may be entering triphasic. Can you're chart already be triphasic but you don't get a BFP right away?

I don't chart, but I'd think your temp can change but the test might not be registering yet. It needs about 20-25 so it could be around 8 or 15, kwim?

I don't want to burst your bubble but I had triphasic charts that only led to BFNs.
I hope this is it for you though!

The thing is I've never had a triphasic chart so it's weird.

It only happened once (maybe twice) in my charting over 17 cycles.

Re: I know I'm being needy but...
I have never had one either but then last month FF noted a possible triphasic chart and I got all excited and it was super stressful and wound up being a BFN because I got AF.
From FF;
A triphasic chart can be promising, however, because progesterone levels generally increase after implantation (7-10 days past ovulation) in conception cycles, and sometimes this results in a triphasic pattern. If your chart shows a second significant thermal shift that begins 7-10 days past ovulation, Fertility Friend will indicate a triphasic pattern in the Pregnancy Monitor. A triphasic chart, however, is not a definite sign that you are or are not pregnant. It is just increasing your probability if you also have well-timed intercourse. Likewise, you can be pregnant and not have a triphasic pattern. Like all signs of possible implantation or pregnancy, you can really only speculate about it once a pregnancy has already been confirmed.
So it seems that if you have one it is definitely a good sign, and more promising!

Re: I know I'm being needy but...
It def. looks like it could be a triphasic chart but whether it will or will not lead to a BFP is beyond me. Honestly, I have no clue anymore about anything I sure do hope that you do get your BFP

same thing here. i had 2 triphasic charts but both were BFN cycles. the cycle i got a BFP (chemical) it was a biphasic chart, and i didnt chart during the IVF that got me pregnant. although it can go either way, a triphasic chart is never a bad sign. good luck!
ETA-not sure if its relevant but both triphasic charts the tri-phase came at 11 or 12DPO, and i was on progesterone each cycle as well (although it was crinone so it shouldnt effect the temps). just more info for you.
