I'd like to introduce myself :)

Hello ladies, my name is Marissa and I am going to be a first time Mommy....very nervous I guestimate that I'm 6 weeks along today....tested on Monday and got my BFP I have my first Drs appointment Monday next week. This past Tuesday I had morning sickness sooo bad all day! Since then I have been fine with that....now I am having mild cramping but it shoots down there if you know what I mean...no bleeding or any thing, just crampy and uncomfortable. Can any one reassure me that this is fine? Sooo nervous! Thanks.....so glad to be joining you ladies

Welcome and congrats. I am first time mommy. I am 20 weeks. Really nervous myself. It sounds like it the beginning crampiness. I had that. You can always call your OB if you are really nervous.

Congrats and welcome! I was a little crampy around 6 weeks, I wouldn't worry too much!

Congrats and welcome! I had cramping as well early on. I actually thought I had a UTI until I took a pregnancy test!

i'm also a 1st timer... i'm 23 weeks on sunday!

I had some mild cramping for weeks on end in the beginning. All is fine so long as it's not severe cramping and it's not accompanied by bleeding. You have a lot going on down there... so cramping can def be normal!!

We are right around the same timing. I'm feeling crampy as well. Like I have my period kind of cramps, but I don't. Felt a little sick today for the first time. Everything I've read says it is totally normal.

if you're talking about cramps in the vag area... i had those consistently from 4-6 weeks. still get it but not as consistently.

Congrats!! I'm a first timer too... 37 weeks now!

I had the same cramping in the beginning too. I swore I was getting AF for the first few weeks. It is just the uterus stretching and growing.

Thanks so much ladies Yes the pain is in the vag area....throbbing all day already....afraid to have a bm cause it feels like my insides are gonna pop out Ugghhh, feel like it's my monthly friend.....thanks for the feelings of relief and welcomes

Congrats!!!

I had awful cramps through almost 8 weeks during this pregnancy. I say as long as there is no bleeding, you have nothing to be concerned about.
