What happens if you get a BFP while on a break from your RE?
This crossed my mind as I sat in my OBGYN's waiting area for 45 mins. I am so used to waiting only about 10-15 mins at my RE's office, and was wondering if all prenatal appts will take that long. 
If I get a BFP this month, while on break, can I still see my RE for the first couple of weeks until I graduate?

I'd say your RE.
I conceived naturally in the summer. I didnt know if I should call my OBGYN or my RE. I called my RE first........they told me to come in. My RE was going to monitor me the whole way until I was released to my GYN.
But unfortuanately, ended up having a M/C.

I'd say your RE.

i secretly hope this will happen to me. i would call my RE first. i'm sure they would have you come in right away for blood work. your OB usually waits until the 7-8 week mark. that would be too long for me! lol

Yes!
That's exactly what happened to me
I was on a break from the RE for a month before starting IVF drug trial and thats when i got my bfp.
Immediately went back to them for the beta blood tests and then continued with them for the next few weeks of sono's while they confirmed there was a sac, heartbeat and it was growing, etc
I 'graduated' from them at about 8 weeks then went to my regular OB at 9 weeks
