Explain this one to me.....
My friend just called me at work and told me she was pregnant!!! ( I know know..another one)
But riddle me this...she has been TTC and told me she just got over her period and now she pregnant? She said the last time she had $ex was around the 15th or 16th of Feb. How if she got her period did she wind up pregnant?
Don't get me wrong I am extremley happy for her...but it sounds rare!! She got a BFP this morning!!!
What are your thoughts?

maybe she had implantation spotting and thought it was her period?

She is confused cause she said she bled for almost 6 days!!! So weird!!!!
Maybe this is a " I didn't know I was pregnant Episode!"

She said she got it last Tuesday. Her body was still feeling off and she decided to take a test..she didn't think it would come up positive!! She is in extreme shock!!!

if she had such a heavy flow, another possibility is it's a chemical? i hope it's not but something similar happened to my friend and when she went to the dr., the dr. said she just had a chemical...

Did she have an actual flow or just 6 days of spotting? Low progesterone could cause spotting.

Did she have an actual flow or just 6 days of spotting? Low progesterone could cause spotting.
She said it never got heavy heavy. Just a moderate flow. Maybe she mistaked that for her period! I hope it's not a false positive!!!

either way.. i think she should go get a beta blood test from her dr to be sure before she goes telling more people (and for her own peace of mind)
bleeding for 6 days then getting a bfp (why would she have tested??) doesn't sound right

I know...I feel like a horrible and god awful friend to tell her that. It doesn't make sense to me how it is a BFP after a period!! She should get it re-tested and get a blood test..but If I tell her that she will probably get mad at me..ugh...I can't win!!! But this doesn't sound right to me at all!!!!
