Island Trees
DH and I are slowly beginning a first time home search and we are currently feeling out areas that we like. Can anyone give me any information about the Island Trees area of Levittown? DH and I both grew up and have lived in Queens are entire lives so any info is appreciated. I have heard its a smaller school district than Levittown any feedback about schools is appreciated! Thank you.

We were looking in Levittown, but focused mainly in on the Island Trees section.
The district is small. It's a great district. I've heard nothing but the best things. Also, you'll find the taxes are lower in Island Trees than Levittown district.

That area is nice- all of Levittown is nice. I grew up there and was going to move back but couldn't sell my current house. I believe most of the businesses on the Turnpike (Kohls, etc.) support the IT schools, not the Levittown schools, which is why the taxes are slightly less.
