Help with wall color and curtains

Hello! I have a big chocolate brown couch in my livingroom. Right now we have natural wicker on the walls! I do like it, but I have sheer chocolate curtains with a tan scarf over it. I just feel like its too plain. We just bought a white electrical fireplace, and it pops! What color would you repaint? I have a carpet that has like 3 circles and its light tan, dark brown and a green (not lime). I would LOVE blue, but i already have a blue color in my bedroom and basement.

HELP!!!!!

How about a soft green, like a sage?

Re: Help with wall color and curtains

ok that might work! Would you leave the curtains the same?

Also, do you know of any nice color green?

We have our living room painted red and I love it! We have black furniture but the previous owners had chocolate furniture and it looked great!

I'm not sure of the name because the previous owners painted it and we just kept it that color. We've been meaning to take a chip of paint to the store to figure it out but here's a pic so you can get the idea Chat Icon

I like the red, too! It looks really warm and elegant.

As far as green, I have Benjamin Moore Saybrook Sage in one of my bathrooms, and I know that's really popular.

My formal living room is light green, too -- it is a BM color called Par Four, which I've never heard of anyone else using! It's a greyish-green, and while it is definitely green, it is pretty neutral (not too in your face or too minty/pastely).

Light blue. I LOVE with beige walls, chocolate accents and white trims. Put some accent pillows with blue.

What about just changing the drapes and adding colorful accent pillows to the couch?

Re: Help with wall color and curtains

Thank you guys sooo much! Do you have a pic of the green in your bedroom? I have a area rug that has dark brown, light beige and green in it. So not sure if I would just put blue curtains up while I have green in the rug. I guess I have to see. I really do like the beige walls in my living room but I just feel like it is too dark. I will post pics!

Here are some pics of my light green living room (this is the BM Par Four color).

Also, you are saying the beige/tan color you have is too dark, so could you just pick another, lighter beige and then use accent colors in your throw pillows, curtains, etc. as others suggested?

(Sorry the pictures posted so tiny, but I am a novice at posting pics on here!)
