Plantation Shutters

Hi, does anyone have plantation shutters in their home?

I have a few questions.

1) any pics you can share with me?
2) Where would I go to get good prices on these?
3) Does someone have to come to your home and measure them?
4) A good friend recently suggested that I get 'black colored' shutters for my dining room. At first I was a little but now i'm . Thoughts? Pics?

I got them at Home Depot. They came out great. They are very expensive. I think I paid $800+ for two.

We have used him along with family & friends.. he is very nice (real) & works efficiently.

I used instant verticals. They were recommended by someone from LIF. They did have to come in and measure first. Mine are white but I'll post pics anyway
