I am dying for a big.....
american hero! Like from a 6 ft hero. With mayo! I've been craving deli sandwiches this entire pregnancy but today the craving is out of control. I usually say everything in moderation, but for some reason keep feeling guilty about this! I am so having someone bring it to me in the hospital! I'm also feeling like some coffee ice cream! Any good cravings today?

I feel this way about a turkey sandwich! DH knows he needs to bring me that ASAP in the hospital, lol.
I believe in moderation, also, but for me that's not a moderation thing.

yes yes yes! I am not big on limiting things during pregnancy but deli meats a no no for me, just based on some stories I read about listeria. Anyhoo, a turkey sandwich was my biggest craving when I was pregnant with DD. I made DH bring me a huge one after I delivered. I would LOVE an italian hero this time around!

me too! But I am trying not to eat deli meats..I know I will cheat at some point though.
I could go for tuna on toasted rye from my favorite diner right now!

why not get one and heat it up in the oven? As long as its cooked hot enough all the way through it should be fine, no? And, boars head meats do not have nitrates if that is a concern for you as well.
The coffee ice cream on the other hand... mmm that sounds good...wish they made decaf coffee ice cream!
ETA - I was curious about Boars Head because somebody recently said they don't have nitrates. I looked on their website and thats only for their all natural line of products, I guess others do. I know whole foods coldcuts don't though.

oh man i was BAD today. DH and i registered, which was overwhelming and tiring. on the way home i was like "im craving a biiiiiig sandwich. and a hot dog!" so we went to the jewish deli and i had my first hot dog in months and a hot pastrami sandwich. i have never had pastrami in my LIFE but i knew i wanted it. holy crap! it was delicious!

i was dying for an italian hero yesterday! we went to a party and there was a 3ft hero... it was chicken cutlet. i was fantasizing about a nice italian hero underneath the cellophane and i was so disappointed when they opened it - which is ironic since i wouldn't have eaten it anyway. 
today i want a block of vermont sharp cheddar
