Tell Me About Prenatals

Okay, I've posted about prenatals before, and I'm just so confused. My biggest concern is that they seem to have fewer types of vitamins in them than the multi I already take. I know I need to take prenatals for their specific benefits, but I also feel the benefits of a multi. Ugh. I think I'm just overthinking this.

Anyway, so some questions...

-Did you/do you take OTC or prescribed prenatals?

-Can you recommend specifically what you take/took?

-Did you/do you supplement any other vitamins with that?

- How long before TTC did you start taking them?

-Did you/do you take OTC or prescribed prenatals? I took Rx prenatals when we were TTC the first time around. I took them all through my pregnancy, but the prescription ran out a few months ago (I'm BF) and I didn't refill it, but went on OTC prenatals.

-Can you recommend specifically what you take/took? The Rx ones were OB-Natal One (generic version of Prima Care One) and LOVED them! The OTC I am taking now are Stuart Prenatals. I am planning to go to the OB in the next week or 2 now that we have started TTC again and I'll ask for another Rx.

-Did you/do you supplement any other vitamins with that? no.

- How long before TTC did you start taking them? I went on them the same month we started TTC.

I take OTC, the Target brand.

I take an Expecta everyday.. b/c mine does not have DHA in it.

I started 6 months before..

1.i have taken both otc and scrip ones but scrip ones were way too expensive

2.scrip ones were ob complete..i am now taking one literally called pre natal and they r gummy and i got it in walgreens

3.i am taking some other stuff as well but its for medical reasons

4.took them 3 months before we ttc

I take OTC Prenatal gummies from Target

I also have B6 and Evening Primrose Oil but I haven't taken them yet.

I started taking them a few weeks after TTC but we stopped actively TTC until DH finds a job but I'm still taking the prenatal.
