Using OPK's
So, I used OPK's when we conceived DD, but that was like 4 years ago!
I'm on CD 8- and I normally have 28 day cycle. I started using OPK's today. I know that the OPK test line has to be the same color as the control line in order for it to be positive- but when you get a faint line, does that mean you are getting ready for O'ing- but it isn't 24-48 hours away?
Does that even make sense?

Yeah, I knew it was considered truly positive until the line was dark like the control line. Just gonna keep testing until it is!

Sometimes I have a faint line for a while, till it starts to get darker right before the surge.

Re: Using OPK's
sorry to crash - maybe this should be in a new thread...just curious if you prefer this type of OPK vs. the one with a smiley face/digital one?
Last time I conceived I used the one with lines...going to start TTC in a few months and been lurking here and wondering if the digital OPKs are better for any reason?
TIA!

I don't know if they necessarily work better than the non-digital- but I think it leaves the guesswork out of it, KWIM?

You can get more than one day of Smiley but I wouldn't waste a test. Once u get it you don't need to test again
