Re: Gender question

I don't care at all - but i have nieces and nephews so I have the best of both worlds! DH would like a boy but would be thrilled with a girl
I just want a healthy baby and that is all that matters
I went to a BF class and a girl admited she was having one gender and wanted the other and 12 weeks later she was still mad at the fact she is not getting her way
People like that frustrate me seriously get over it

Re: Gender question

Of course everyone may have a slight preference and that's ok. I'm more talking about people acting like it's the end of the world if they don't get what they want. The kind that criticize a certain gender or view it as some sort of necessity to have. It's such a blessing and life is so fragile I just don't understand it. It's a gift from god and I can't help but think that you get what he wants you to have.

Re: Gender question

I dont care which gender I have for #2 and nobody has ever said to me anything about preference for a certain gender. I would put them in their place if they did.
I am so aware of the fragility of life even though I have not experienced a loss. Reading about the sad situations many have gone through over the years on here just makes me want my baby safe and sound regardless of gender.

Re: Gender question

I'd be happy for a boy or a girl and one day I hope I have the opportunity to have both but I did always say that I wanted a little girl first. If it happens, it happens, if not then I'm still gonna be thrilled. I totally understand what your saying about peoples comments about different genders. With us, I think some people in the family take it personally that we are team Chat Icon but oh well.
