Nauseous/Throwing Up ALL DAy
I'm only 10 weeks, don't really post here much, but I need help :(
Anyone else sick all day long? I feel like there isn't a moment in the day where I am not either feeling sick, gagging, or getting sick. It's to the point where I've had to call into work or been late for work several times. I feel like this isn't normal, and it's so hard to be happy and exciting when I never feel good. Any words of wisdom or advice would be greatly appreciated. I feel like I'm about to have a breakdown or soemthing...

Talk to your doctor about Zofran. It is a life saver, especially if you are so sick that you can't go about your daily business.

Re: Nauseous/Throwing Up ALL DAy
yes. and it happened my whole pg with DS1, too.
yesterday i threw up 7 times at work - between the hours of 9:30 and 5:30. I felt like garbage, looked like garbage, and couldn't wait to go home. There are days when nothing helps at all, but I'm on 32mg of zofran daily and it does ease the severity of things.
You should definitely talk to your Dr about zofran. Ginger, seabands, preggypops, etc - they're all crap.
Hang in there!!!

Re: Nauseous/Throwing Up ALL DAy
Was there 3 weeks ago...12 weeks now and things are a little better. Saw my dr. when I was vomitting 3x a day for 5 days straight. She put me on 24 mg of Zofran a day which helped me to keep my food down. She also said to forget the prenatals until I'm feeling better, drink water with a tablespoon (very little at a time), eat lots of foods that are mostly water (like Jello and watermelon) That's what I did for 3 weeks, just had my 12 week sono and baby looks great.

I'm scared this is where I'm heading. I'm 6 weeks today and I've already thrown up 4 times today.

Re: Nauseous/Throwing Up ALL DAy
I would def call your Dr and speak with them I had this for about 20 weeks and I was getting sick about 13-14 times a day. I needed Zofran and at 32w I am still taking it I was also so dehydrated from being sick that I needed a few IV's to get me back to somewhat functional I would def ask about Zofran before you get worse (hope you don't!) Feel better and you need to drink gatorade if you can tolerate anything

Re: Nauseous/Throwing Up ALL DAy
I agree about asking for zofran. The day I got my prescription my appointment was at 10:30AM and I had already vomited 5 times. The zofran helped me to keep food down though it was not a cure all. You should still eat carefully when you first start it.
