Spinoff to jarred sauce..post your recipe
So how do you make your sauce? What kind of tomatoes are you using, fresh, puree, whole and you puree it? What spices do you put in it and how long do you cook it for and on what temp?

I cook everything in one big pot with sausage and meatballs..
I add about 1/2 cup evoo, then just brown the sausage and meatballs..don't cook them all the way through though..while this is cooking I add about 6 cloves of garlic and a chopped onion
Once this is all lightly cooked, I add italian seasoning, basil, parsley, oregano, garlic salt and red pepper flakes
I cook it about a minute, then add 1 large can of tomato puree, 1 large can of crushed tomatoes, a small can of diced tomatoes and a small can of tomato paste I throw in like 3 baby carrots and cook it for about 3 hours
