Re: Is anyone lelse NOT in a rush for their pregnancy to end?

Im torn!! On one hand I want time to fly so that I can have the babies already for a few reasons. 1- I cant wait to met them!!!!!!! 2- I am ALWAYS uncomfy. I have been sleeping on the couch for the last month... 3- I'm tired of people telling me what I can and can't do. I'm not used to being catered to and to be honest.. I don't like it all that much. 4- I cant wait to again. I'm practically a born again since the docs restricted us for doing anything since I was about 10 weeks. GRRRRRRRRRR 5- I cant wait to be able to enjoy the gym and my long walks again. 6- and last as selfish as this sounds.. I want my old body back (good luck right?!) I don't like looking down and not being able to see my feet.. or needing help to get off the couch.
But on the other hand... I love to feel them moving around inside me. I know they are safe in there and I want them to be nice and ready when they make their appearance.
I want my old body back too! Thats not selfish at all! I miss my pre-pregnancy clothes at this point and just want to look cute again! This pregnancy has been so hard on my self esteem. I'm not used to having no control over my body; I hate it! I can't wait to get back to the gym the way I used to!! I'm still working out but the intensity is much less. I can't wait to be able to run and do all the things I used to do!!!

Girly!!! Im tired of sitting on my A$$!!!!!! I have not been allowed to do anything since about 10 weeks or so. Nothing physical at all. I CAN"T STAND IT!!!!!
I'm watching myself grow and the only thing that keeps me from crying is that my hubby helps me through it and that i know I have two little girls in there that need my body as their home right now. So I actually have to rationalize with myself... I feel selfish but I can't wait to be my normal self again. I'm almost 6mths with twins and right on track with growth. But the docs tell me that I'm growing as if i was 7.5-8 months preggers with a single child. So by the time I'm 8-9 months I'm going to be as if i was 11-12 months with a single baby,. LMAO

You will get through it and look at the prize at the end!! Whenever I get sidetracked by my changing body or weight gain, I just think of her growing! Its rewarding in that sense! I'm getting her strong! It's such a huge accomplishment in that way!!!

I am 34 weeks ...People keep saying to me "Bet you can't wait for it to be over huh ?"
Honestly, as uncomfortable as I am getting and as much as I want to meet this baby- I am in NO rush and am really hoping hard that I go to my scheduled c-section date...
For starters and one of my main reasons...., its quite probable (though I never say never ) that this will be my last pregnancy...Once this is over, I may never feel a little growing baby inside of me again
2nd, we are still very unprepared ...We are amidst construction here and our house is upside down
3rd- Because I already have 2 LO's at home, I really would be pleased if all goes as planned for my scheduled date so that I can be at ease that we have our sitter situation under control...I also am trying to enjoy some time with them before we add our new little bundle into the mix...
4th- I want my baby fully cooked
No reason to hope for an early arrival !!
Anyone else, or am I alone here ?
We just had our 3rd 3 months ago and I felt the EXACT same way as you do!!!
Probably my last so I was enjoying it so much since I will not feel another baby in my tummy which is my favorite part of PG, we were not ready to say the least and I also have 2 other kids at home so they already kept me busy, tired, etc. lol! I also wanted her to be fully cooked! I went to my scheduled c-section date. Though I did start having contractions about 8 hours before needing to leave for the hospital. We just waited it out until the C-section.
And now, she'll be 3 months old tomorrow already. I can't believe how fast time flies by. The first one didn't go fast, the 2nd one went even faster, but the 3rd has flown by the fastest.
Now my oldest is 7, middle one is 4.5 and youngest 3 months. Definitely enjoy these last few weeks with your other one's because once the baby comes it's even harder to spend quality time with them.

Thank you...It sounds like we are going to be living parallel lives ....
I cannot wait to meet this little one but I also really wish I could freeze time, because I know just how fast it is going to go

Re: Is anyone lelse NOT in a rush for their pregnancy to end?
I was like that with my DS. It took me so long to conceive him, and then I was just enjoying every moment. Plus, I loved having him physically with me everywhere I went Even the day before my c-section I was like oh wow..I won't be pregnant anymore...I'm so used to being pregnant!

Re: Is anyone lelse NOT in a rush for their pregnancy to end?
I was the same way with DS... he was almost 2 weeks late and I was totally fine with letting him bake a lil more! I love, love, love being pregnant, so I dont want to rush it at all. I feel the same way this go-round too.

I'm in the same exact boat as you... not sure if it's my last, trying to finish up major construction on house and not ready for baby...
Of course I wish the back pain would stop and do sometimes get antsy and feel like I want to hold the baby already.

Re: Is anyone lelse NOT in a rush for their pregnancy to end?
I'm only 26 weeks but I am WITH you!!! First of all, we still have so much to do and I am just NOT moving on doing it. Secondly, I love feeling this little person moving around and I LOVE how much fun DH and I have talking to it and laughing at my belly moving. It's amazing! So while I am so excited to meet this little person, I am not in a rush for THIS time to end. It's very special.
Plus, I want the baby to just keep cooking in there!
