YUCK! I'm not familar with that one - Wantagh SD? However, now I know to steer clear. Thanks for the warning!
I really don't understand why people can't clean their homes before an open house. If you're lazy, then hire someone - it's worth it!
They can't clean it because they moved to Florida and left their garbage there for someone else to clean. The pictures were probably taken in 1990 and now it looked like a tornado tore through there...
this is the house I saw...
We went to look at this house too--it is about a minute away from my Moms house. nothing like the pics!!!! I knew it had to be too good to be true for the price.

Yesterday we saw a house in Excellent ++ condition.
Apparently Excellent ++ means that the front and back lawn will be overgrown with weeds, the kitchen will be in the middle of a major renovation, and the upstairs bathroom will not have a toilet installed in it.
After seeing one "excellent" house, we told our realtor not to show us any more "excellent" houses. The house we bought was "mint +" and even that needed work.
