Please tell me that...
CD3 sono is external 
They didn't so one last time so 
I feel like I've read that it is external, but I don't remember.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but mine was an internal sono. I have to figure that they are sooooo used to this.
They put a pad on the table just in case.

It's honestly not that bad, IMO. I think they are looking to make sure that all of your follies are gone from the previous cycle, but there might be more to it than that. You'd think I would have asked at some point.

they are looking for cysts in the first place. they also check lining and the rest.GL!

its not a big deal at all. pretty much no sono at an RE is external (with the exception of the sono during ET of IVF..).
they are looking to make sure everything is clean to start a new cycle (no cysts/leftover follies, thin lining, etc.)

They don't want to pump you full of meds to stim your ovaries unless all is clear in there...You get used to it! And you will feel better since you know they looked at everything going on in there...

Thanks! I've had an internal sono before and it was awkward, but not terrible. It just bothers me that it's during AF.
