WOWZA - Prenatal cost!
So I had my annual today, and Dr. gave me a prescription for prenatals....with a coupon for $15 off of the co-pay. Great...right?
So I take the prescription to CVS...hand in the card and come back in an hour....to a $55 co-pay!!!!!!!! 
Yea....that's not gonna work for TTC months + 10 months of pregnancy!!! 
I've made a note to talk to the dr about switching when I go back...I think I'll take this pack, and switch to an over the counter if I'm not preggo by the time I finish!!
Alll that aside...Is anyone taking Natelle??

I get a prescription from my OB and they only cost $10 @ walmart-I think walmart is the key for it being so cheap.
I just looked at the bottle- there is no name on it- just says prenatal vitamins
talk to your dr.

my ob gave me a scrip for ob complete..3 month supply..my insurance we have to pay up front then get it back..it was 300 bucks!!!!!!! no joke lol
we paid figuring we would get it back..turns out my insurance does not cover any kind of vitamin..
yea over the counter for us from now on lol

Mine are $70 at Cvs for 3 month supply. BCP was cheaper. Who knew?

I know. My dr gave me a script but said to stick with my otc since the prenatals are usually redic expensive.

FYI - some insurance companies will not cover prenatals until you are pregnant, so you may be paying the full price until you report the pregnancy to them.
Also, if you haven't met the deductable for the year yet, you may be paying full price.
CVS brand vitamins are on sale this week - BOGO

Is there any chance you could get a generic? If not, I'd definitely ask your doc for something else, or go with an OTC.

I have been taking a prescription generic. My co-pay is cheaper than buying them over the counter. Maybe you can get the generic version?
