Salt, pepper, grill Chat Icon Its so tender and stands on its own, that's all I put on mine. Maybe a premade marinade.

I agree...filet mignon especially. It really doesn't need anything more than this IMO.

salt and pepper and the grill! i sometimes like to melt butter and dip the cold meat in it right before i grill it... Its supposed to seal in all the juices.

We also like to sautee up some mushroom to eat with it!

Re: filet mignon

Last week, DH made a pan seared filet with a cabernet sauce. I'm not sure what the exact recipe was, but it was delish and easy.

Re: filet mignon

a little kosher salt and fresh black pepper.

Can also put on a little crushed garlic

or use montreal steak seasoning.

Then i broil or grill it on the grill pan. if i had an outdoor grill, I'd use that every time.

I use either my cast iron skillet or a grill pan. You can also broil it in the oven.

Re: filet mignon

I dip them in melted butter and coat them on each side with cracked pepper. Then I pan sear them for like a minute on each side and then stick them in the oven at 375 for 15-20 mins. When their done I throw some salt on them and. Delish!!!
