Wildwood, NJ hotel/motel with toddler

DH and I went quite a few years ago and we didnt care where we stayed... but now older, wiser and with a 3 year old, it matters.

Anyone have any reccomendations? We would be going in July.

I would absolutely look into renting a condo for the week/weekend. There are a ton of them on Craigslist and this is what we did. All of the hotels down there really skeeve me out and this condo was brand-spanking new, very nice/clean, and 1 block from the boardwalk! It had 3 bedrooms and was perfect for us... there were 2 other couples staying with us. If you are interested, I can dig up the emails from when we went so you can stay in the same place. I believe the owner had a few others that he rented out as well.

I suggest looking into Ocean City, NJ I think its about 20 min away from Wildwood. It's very family-friendly!

Wildwood Crest is much better. It is closer to Cape May and a different feel.

We stay here - its kitschy, but we like it. They have three motels - the Gondolier is the nicest but any of the three are OK.

I stayed at the Acadia last year in Wildwood Crest and it was great!!! Right on the beach and a pool with a children's area. Hoping to go back again this year!!
