i think i had this entirely WRONG
I have mentioned this already.
My cycles are 32 days, I have learned this from counting on a calender for a few months now.
The gyno said to count 14 days.
Does this mean I count 14 from the last day or 14 from day 1?????
Also, when you mean DPO, is that the last day you showed a strip on your o-test or the FIRST DAY!?!?
because I think I'm 11DPO, not 6.
I think trying to understand this is making me cross eyed.
I started using the test strips on CD14. I did not get a dark line like I was supposed to, it was very very faint until CD17. I tested on 18 and 19 and still had darker lines.
For SOME reason on CD 24 (and I think it's because of the news I got from SIL) I felt the need to use another test strip and I had no line at all.
Either way, I know we BDed from 14-21 every other day and used preseed this time.
I need someone to explain this in baby terms.

Re: i think i had this entirely WRONG
If you have a 32 days cycle you aren't going to O on CD14. Counting backwards 14 days from your last AF would give you a general idea of when you O'ed last month. I have 31-34 days cycles and have O'ed anywhere from CD18-21, I also have a 12 day luteal phase. Counting back 14 days from your last AF would be assuming you have a 14 day luteal phase (which is the average). If you didn't get a positive OPK on CD 18 or 19, I would bet you would have gotten one on 20 or 21 (if I am correct in assuming that you didn't test those days).
ETA: DPO would be the first day after ovulation. So once you saw a positive OPK you would O 12 -36 hours afterward and the day after that would be 1DPO.
