Kinda freaking out
I don't know what is wrong with me lately.
I have been panicking thinking about how in less than 2 months, I am going to be responsible for a little baby, for a whole other life. I don't know why this is freaking me out now but I can't shake this feeling.
Then on top of it, I am so concerned how this is going to affect DH and I and our relationship. I haven't been in the mood to be intimate in any way. My breasts have started leaking and I feel like I am neglecting my husband. I haven't felt like myself in so long and I am afraid that I will never feel the same way again.
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a mom and now that it is right around the corner I am really scared.
Can anyone else relate?
Thanks for reading

Re: Kinda freaking out
awww dont freak out! its scary, you are a lot closer to the finish line that i am, but im sure once you see that baby all your fears will go away!!!
as for you and DH's relationship, i can def relate to not really being in the mood, altho sometimes i force myself to cuz i feel bad...but im positive, your DH understands! and im soo positive that your mood will come back!!

Re: Kinda freaking out
I could have written your post exactly. I feel the same way.
I wants this baby so much it hurts, however I am one of those people who don't handle change real well. Yes I know a baby changes everything and that is what scares me. I am worried about me being completely different. I still want to be me. I still want DH and I to have what we have pre baby. I know DH wants our as much as I do but I think he has the same fears.
I am sure that what we are feeling is completely normal and it will be worth all the fear and anxiety in the end.

Re: Kinda freaking out
Feeling that way is totally normal. If you make sure to take time out to take care of yourself and be with each other, everything will fall into place I hope.
Maybe you need a little spa day or a "babymoon."

Re: Kinda freaking out
Dont worry, everything will be fine.
Life is full of changes, some big, some small. You and your DH have already weathered alot in your time together I am sure, and that will all help you prepare for this one. Yes the dynamic of your relationship will change but thats not a bad thing....
The most important thing is to realize you are THERE for each other, you entered this adventure together and you need to help each other, love each other, support each other and communicate with each other.
I remember feelign the way you are now 3 years ago...but 3 years later, my DH is more the man of my dreams than anything. When he comes home and sees that I am exhausted and takes my son in to the playroom for hours even though he is tried too, I remember why I love him. When DS gets hurt and I see him hugging him, I remember why I love him...and when we have date nights, I know why I married him.
YOu will be fine as long as you do it together!!!
