Clinique Continuous coverage
or
Illamasqua Rich Liquid
(This is based of the obsessive amount of time I spend on makeup websites & blogs. I haven't tried these yet.)

Make-Up Forever makes a makeup that is supposed to hide all flaws very well. I think they say it's made for HD tv or cameras. Sephora or Ulta sells it.

Yep. I use this as stage makeup and it's fantastic..a lot heavy for everyday wear though...

I used to wear that as my everyday( Makeup Forever HD)--I didn't think it was that heavy.
There are also brands you can order online that dancers use or that make up artsists use for photography but it can be hard to order foundation online.

This is exactly my issue...I have such a hard time finding the exact color so I'm worried about ordering online...I like Sephora so I can color test.

Re: Heavy Caked on make up?
I use MUFE, but I'm also a big fan of Revlon...especially ColorStay!
If I know I'm going to be photographed and/or sweat at all, I use the ColorStay line and MUFE loose powder. I used to wear the Matte, but I've been unable to find it so now I'm using the Shine-On loose powder.

I always thought the cream foundations by MAC were very heavy...

I use that make up and it's great!
It is not heavy at all if you only use a little bit. The great thing about that line is that the heaviness of coverage depends on how much you put on and that it blends beautifully whether you out a little or a lot. I am sure if you cake it on it will give that super heavy coverage you are looking for and still photograph very well. Make Up Forever HD Invisible coverage
