$$ exchange help
We are going to DR in June. We are staying in a all inclusive so the amount we would need would be minimal. Is it better to use cash, convert to pesos, or use a credit card (from what I read Capital one does not charge fees, although they may exchage at a higher rate)

Re: $$ exchange help
When we went to DR, we didn't exchange money. We also stayed at an all -inclusive. I feel like we used the dollar for small purchases, tips, etc.

Ditto. No need to exchange. Just take enough money b/c if you use an ATM there you'll get their currency

Re: $$ exchange help
We didn't exchange any money. We had shuttle transport to the resort and stayed on the resort the entire time.
If I remember correctly, we took a few hundred in US cash. I took a lot of singles for tips. We brought most of the cash back. I don't remember buying one thing on the resort that wasn't covered under "all-inclusive".
I bought a few things at the US airport before going to the DR but nothing at the DR airport so I didnt even need money there.
