workout routine for 2ww?
Hi ladies, was just wondering what was (if anything) everyone's workout routine was during their 2ww?
For example:
- walking 30 min.- 3x week or - stationary bike 30miutues - 2x week & - free weights 15 minutes - 5x week
I have been trying to still work out at a low pace during my 2ww, but dont want to overdue it, but I also dont want to under do etc.

I usually do the same routine I do the rest of the cycle.......

lol, trust me I have been doing that for the past couple of years I have been trying, and 15 lbs later, I am finally getting back into a routine for the last 2 months but I just dont want to push myself too much ya know?

I actually started going to the gym in October, less thab a couple of months before I started stims and IUI. It's Ladies Workout Express, and they have a 30 min circuit, so the once or twice a week I actually drag myself there, I do that. It's a combo of cardio and resistance, and I keep it pretty light during the 2WW. Dr. B said that as long as I don't get out of breath to the point that I have trouble talking, it's fine. Seriously though, I've been there like 3 times in the past month.

define workout!
These days, I walk my dog almost 5 days a week for 45 minutes or so. But, I consider that just exercise.
My workout would probably be carrying my school bag and laptop into and out of work every day!

I usually try to keep up my same routine...
5-6 days a week between 30 mins- 1 hr a day
I walk on the treadmill at 4.3 mph with a little incline or I do the elliptical.
I used to cut back during the 2ww, but then I would feel even worse about myself after I got my period.

Sorry, I feel strongly that people should go light on exercise when TTC. I know some REs say it's OK, but when I really did my research... lots of studies have exercise as a risk factor for miscarriage.
Who knows if it's true... and I gained LOTS of weight due to that & meds while TTC.

i keep up my regular routine. 3x a week an hour to an hour and a half. 30 min circuit then the rest cardio (running, walking, bike etc. whatever i am in the mood for)
I cut back at first but as someone said previosuly i would feel worse after AF. After my chemical i felt terrible that i was running when pregnant, but my dr. said there was nothjing i could have done to cause that to happen. I also feel strongly about working out bc i lost 70 lbs. over 6 1/2 years ago and kept it off. I've made a promise to myself to not let this be an excuse to get out of shape. Once I am actually pregnant and if dr. says so I will def. limit my workout for the health of my baby, but until then Im going to keep going.

I know someone who did a marathon when she was 6 months pregnant. Working out is good for you and your (potential future) baby! Just keep up what you've been doing.

Running to Penn Station is the only exercise I usually get. I honestly do try to take it easy in the 2WW. That way I can't feel guilty that I didn't do everything I could when I get a BFN.
