mexican coke at costco
has anyone tried them? I heard there's also something similiar at BJ's, but we didn't try that.
My mom got some cases for some reason. I don't drink soda, but she gave us a case and I've taken a few sips of DH's. Pretty good... reminds me of fountain soda.

I have heard that they can be found at Costco, but I have yet to see any in the NY area.
I actually order them by the case from a local Mexican grocery store in Queens. It's $$, but I gladly pay it. There's something about drinking it from a glass bottle with real sugar that can't be beat.
I'm curious to know what Costco sells them for.
Someone I know has told me that they've found them on S.I. at a local supermarket.

We're in NJ so they're at the Costco by us. Not sure how much since my mom got the cases and gave it to us. I'll have to find out.
They are so good and I usually don't care for soda. Such a difference with real sugar and in glass. I don't care for the taste in plastic or a can

Sam's Club carries them as well. I love it because 1. its in a glass bottle and 2. its natural sugar rather than corn syrup.
I forget how much Sam's Club sells them for but I have a feeling it was around $1.00-$1.25 a bottle, I think. I can buy them at some stores individually for $1.30 and I remember feeling as if the discount was not as great as it could have been.

That's right about what I pay for them. At least I know I'm in the ballpark. If a big-box store had it for $1 or less each, then I'd have to go check it out.

Effectively, yes. Kosher Coke usually comes in plastic two liter bottles (sometimes with a distinctive yellow cap). These Mexican Cokes come in the classic green 12oz glass bottles which you see in every Coke commercial.
Coke will say that they are all the same, but in reality the taste will vary from region to region, including the U.S. made with HFCS.

Oh, this sounds wonderful. When I was a kid I'd travel to Colombia where my mom is from and all the soda came in glass bottles. Nothing like it! Back then you'd have to go to the store with an empty glass bottle in order to buy a new soda. They were recycling before it was the popular green thing to do 
I wonder if I can find them here in Nassau Co.

I wonder if I can find them here in Nassau Co.
They have them at the Westbury Costco. I try not to keep soda in the house but these are very hard to resist.
