Folic Acid with poll
Can you ladies please tell me how much folic acid is in your prenatal.. I'm going a bit kuku bananas here.. and whether you are taking any additional folic acid with it .. i.e. by food (greens, cereals etc) or additional supplement..
pls pls pls.. thanks

mine says 800 mcg
the only other thing i take with it is a vitamin D supplement as suggested by my RE.

400mcg is what is recommended. this is what i, and my practice tells our patients.
unless you had any reason in which you needed more supplementation, 400mcgs is sufficient.
all prenatals are different. i know some of the ones we have samples of here have 1mg (1000mcg). this doesn't make them any better.

I take the target brand and its 800mcg.. I also eat healthy.. (ugh, never thought this would be a problem), so I'm a little concerned about too much of it..
