Thermometer
Do you have one that reads to the 1/10th degree or to the 1/100th degree. Do you think one is better than the other?

Re: Thermometer
Ha! I posted this exact same question a little over a month ago!
I ended up getting one that gives readings to the 1/10th degree and I've been happy with my choice. My charts only show to the 1/10th degree any way.

Re: Thermometer
Mine shows to the 1/10th degree and it's enough to show the shifts in temp.

Re: Thermometer
Do you ladies think that if I dont have a clear thermal shift perhaps getting one that read to the 1/100th degree would be better or it makes no difference?

Dont think it woud make a difference. Most charts look for 1/10th. If you dont see a thermal shift, you should make an appt with your dr. JMO though!

Re: Thermometer
mine goes to the 1/100th. i thought all bt's did. learn something new every day! lol so then what's the difference between a regular digital thermometer that goes to the 1/10th (e.g. 98.6) and a bt? like mine will say 98.66 or whatever. i thought they were supposed to? sorry if im not making any sense at all.

No there are basal thermometers that only go to the 10th degree. I think the difference between a reg. thermometer and a basal is the sensitivity. I could be wrong though.
