Saw the RE & Starting Medicated Cycle now?

Saw the RE on calendar day 4 and he decided to put me on Clomid. I have never been on a "medicated" cycle and feel a little unsure of things (with my health history,etc). Anyone have first hand info? Please share!!! TIA

I have done 2 cycles with Clomid. My DH and I used timed intercourse with OPKS. I experienced hot flashes with Clomid, but I ovulated....well worth it.

I start taking my Clomid today and this is my first cycle. I will be having an IUI this cycle.

what is your diagnoses? do you ovulate regularly?
i have PCOS and dont ovulate that often on my own. i did clomid and it didnt do a thing for me. i went right to injectables the next cycle. i ended up doing several injectable cycles and got preg twice but both were chemical. ended up getting my sticky BFP from IVF.
clomid is really nothing. its like the intro drug of fertility meds. for some people it kick-starts follie development and ovulation, for others it doesnt do anything. it all depends what your cycle is like and what your diagnoses is.
i do hope your doctor is monitoring you on it. i would think if you are seeing an RE that you are being monitored. when do you go back?

i have done 3 cycles of clomid and about to begin 4th and unfortunetly for me they did nothing..hoping they work for you

we did timed intercourse..i was tired on them and had really bad hot flashes..but when the pills stopped so did symptoms
