For those who used BCP....
How far in advance did you stop taking BCP before TTC?
And just out of curiosity, how long were you on BCP?

i was off bcp for 4 mos before starting ttc.
i was on bcp for about 15 years.

I was on BCP for 11 years and stopped taking it 2 years before we started TTC. I knew it would take a very long time to have any sort of cycles or pattern to them, and I was correct about that. I never did have regular cycles, but eventually they went to 34 and 59 days, alternating every other cycle.

The first time we TTC, I had been on BCP for 4.5 years and started TTC immediately after going off it. This time around, planning to do the same thing (going off BCP in 2 weeks and then we'll start TTC).

I've been on BCP since i was 15. I only stopped when TTC. For #1 i was off it for 6 months before TTC to regulate my cycles.
This time, i've been off it since august so that's been about 6 months as well.
