I'm out. again. when do you say its time to see a specialist?

I am out again for the 9th month. I am very depressed and I found it even hard to go to work today. I just want to go back to bed and not face the world.

i think it depends on your age. between 6-12 months of trying depending on that.

i know how frustrating it can be do you have a GYN appointment coming up soon? you could always talk to them first. if you want to see a specialist (an RE), usually the time frame they suggest is to come in if you have been TTC unsuccessfully for 12 months (under 35) or 6 months (over 35). unless you suspect you have an underlying issue (like PCOS), then i wouldn't wait past 6 months.

before you see an RE, i would suggest calling your insurance company to check your coverage.

My doc said to come in if I had no results in 6 months. HTH.

I have been trying to see my doc but she has cancelled 2x already. I just found out someone at work is preg. I feel like im just surrounded by people who are pregnant.

if u have been trying for a good amount of that 9 months as oppose to winging it theni would make the call..could not hurt


are your cycles regular?do u get positive opks?
