Anyone know Dr. Rausch from NSUH?
I have my IVF consult with her. I know she is pretty new to the practice. I don't know much about her. I had her once for an IUI and she was very nice. Any other experiences?
I'll post later about my follow-up from my IUI this morning. I'm just at work now. Hope you ladies have a great day.

She wasn't my RE when I did my IVF there but saw her couple of times. I think she finished her training not too long ago but she was wonderful. When I went for monitoring during IVF for sonograms, she would turn the monitor to me and show where the follicles are and tell me what sizes they were. I wish every RE takes the time to do that. GL!

I saw her a couple of times. She was niced I prefer dr Scholl's style of telling you the bear minimum while dr Rausch will tell you everything and explain everything.
I know that sounds crazy but sometimes i wanted to get my sono/blood done and get out.
IMO sometimes it's best not to know b/c you can't change very much of it......

Thank you. Haha, I think it's funny the two ladies who responded to this thread both have hope in their name. Dare I say this is a sign??? . Don't mind me, I'm grasping at straws today.
The reason I ask is because Dr. Rosenfeld set me up with her for my IVF consult. I know she is pretty new to the practice. So I guess we shall see. I know they wouldn't have hired her if she wasn't good. We can't control everything, right???

I did IVF last year there. She was not in the practice at the time. When you do IVF there you get the opportunity to meet and see all of the doctors in the practice. The good side of that is that you get to meet them all, the bad side is that you cannot choose who you are going to see....I saw Dr. Chu, who in my opinion was extremely cold. I was happy to see a woman when she walked into the room....however, very quickly realized that she was miserable. I chalked it up to a bad day....but then the next few times she was the exact same way. I was freaking out b/c there was a possibility of her doing my retrieval or my transfer...I was freaking b/c I thought that she brought bad vibes! I was lucky and Dr. Hershlag did my retrieval and Dr. Scholl did my transfer. And...no bad vibes! Success!

Thanks so much! Congrats on your little guy:). So your first IVF worked? Do you mind me asking what your diagnosis was? We are unexplained IF.
Dr. Rausch is very young (I'm 31 and I thought she looked younger than me ), but she was super nice and very knowledgeable.
She explained it to me the way you did. Basically all the doctors participate in IVF and I won't have one specific doctor. That I could be seen by anyone depending on the day I come in. I actually kind of like this. Weird I know .

I could have written the same exact words about Dr Chu. She did my first retrieval. Not a word to me after the retrival, the nurse told me everything. I am glad when she called the next day with the fertilization results that DH spoke to her and not me.. It was clear afterwards she triggered me to soon. Nothing like wasting my $$, time and breaking my heart. But i hear some people like her...
Dr Raush on the other hand. I really really liked her. I wish I had met her earlier very compassionate and while she does tell you more than Scholl. She is honest and thats what I want.
