PAI-1??
Ok, so my doc just called me and said that one other blood test came back, and apparently I have the PAI-1 gene. I wonder why this didn't come up with my last pregnancy, since I did see an RE AND a hematologist-- and was cared for by a high risk OB. I was talking a baby aspirin because of the one copy of the MTHFR mutation I had. eta-- I actually am not sure if I took the aspirin bc of this, I also had low protein S-- so I took extra folic acid as well. Can't remember which was for which.
I had a healthy pregnancy and have a healthy child... so, I am not really THAT worried, and the doc said as long as I take the baby aspirin it should be fine.
In my quick google searches, I am wondering if this was the reason for my multiple chemicals last time I was TTCing. I don't remember when I started with the baby aspirin last time.
Anyone have any insight on this?? Thanks!
