Newbie - saying Hi and got some ?'s
Hello!!! Just wanted to introduce myself as a newbie. I've finally moved over from the liweddings board (was on the 08 bride board!) 
so dh and i just started ttc and we're in the 2nd month now. i'm at cd25 (about 15dpo) now in the 2ww period  (did i get all the abbrev right?  ) haha i'm busting at the seams wanting to take a hpt but i kno i shd wait until the missed period....
in the meantime, am trying to find a nice ob/gyn in nassau county. has anyone gone to dr. byrnes in garden city? can you gals recommend your awesome ob/gyn? and which hospital is good -- lij, south nassau, etc...?

scond..ur a strong woman if u r 15 dpo and didnt test lol
im in queens so i dont have a doc but best of luck and i hope ur stay here is short and sweet!

awww thank you so much gina409!!! ahaha i did sneak in a test last week but it was of course a bfn  almost forgot about that!! so now am just waiting until sat. hoping af doesn't show 
i used to live in queens too (woodside) - loved the area. so much good food around there!

Don't know any OB's in that area.

My ob is dr. plancher in garden city and he is affiliated with winthrop. I have only been seeing him since Aug. but i have nothing but great things to say about him. I had a chemical last month and he was wonderful in dealing with it.
Winthrop also has a great reputation. Ive never had an experience with anything maternity there but I have a few friends who gave birth there and loved it. I was admitted to Winthrop for a week two years ago (gi issues) and had a great experience.

Another Dr.Plancher here! Just started to see him after suffering a miscarriage at a different OBGYN (they stunk!!!). They accept almost all insurances and there is NEVER a wait...I love them!! Good luck and lots of

Welcome!! And I have several friends who use Dr. Byrne and they all RAVE about him!! He sounds like a GREAT doctor. He delivers at South Nassau and Winthrop. I prefer Winthrop (it's where I delivered my first), but I know many who have used South Nassau and are always pleased with it! Winthrop has a higher rater NICU though, just in case, God forbid, it is needed!
Another great OB rec for you is University Plaza Obstetrics, also in Garden City. Three really great OB's there! GL!
