For those who were on BCP...

How long did it take for your cycle to become regular after going off BCP? I have one DC already, and when I went off BCP last time, my cycle was immediately regular. I am especially curious for answers from those who already have 1 DC (or more) and went back on BCP after giving birth and are now trying for another. I know AF can be so different after having a baby. I've only had it twice so far since having DC, but I am still on BCP. DH and I are planning to TTC as soon as I finish the current month of pills I'm on-in about 2 weeks! (I'm a regular poster in hiding for now), so I am curious as to what I can expect as far as a predictable cycle. Sorry if I'm rambling- hope that made sense! TIA for any input!

my cycles were 39 and 37 days first 2 months after BCP but now i'm in the 3rd month and i'm at CD51 with nothing....

some girls are regular right after BCP and some took about 2-3 cycles before it went back to what it was before BCP.

Well the first time i went off bcp and tried to get preggo, i did. So, the first time around i never dealt with getting back to a normal cycle.

This time around i decided to go off the pill before trying...First month cycle was 35 days..second cycle was 32 days.

Last month was my first month of ttc and i got a bfn..my cycle was the longest..it was 38 days.

Prior to every being on the pill my period would come between 28-32 days, usually just off by a day or two from the previous month. Pretty normal.

UGH...I wish i would have went off the pill even faster before ttc, so i could have regulated my cycles.
