Have you told...
anyone at work that you're TTC?
I did...and I am starting to regret it. As the months go by and I am not pregnant yet...they always "check in" to see if I am pregnant yet. I get a lot of "hey..are you prego yet?" "Any news this month" "are you still trying". It kinda makes me feel a little sour because it feels like they're rubbing in the fact that I am not preggos yet (I'm sure they dont mean to).
This happen to any of you?

Re: Have you told...
the woman i share an office with HAS to know... too many convos taking place in my office that she overhears... i trust her so its no big deal... and my boss might know only because of what has already happened and knowing that I had to wait 3 months

Re: Have you told...
I haven't told work. I keep my personal life out of the office. They'll know when the time is right.

Re: Have you told...
Nope. I actually only work with one another person and I would NEVER tell her. We dont have that type of relationship.

Yes! I give you girls so much credit for doing it without telling. I told some friends and my immediate family. Mine...not Dhs.

2 of my friends at work and my office manager who I'm also close with. Mostly because I wanted to tell someone and we're definitely not telling our families.

Re: Have you told...
Ugh, I did, and now I am currently going threw infertility treatments. It's a nightmare. Every friend and family member I have knows because of Miscarriages in the past year and every coworker does the "hey, you preggo yet, you been eating a lot". UGH so rude lol
If I could do it over, it would be me and hubbys little secret ;)

Re: Have you told...
I did and I totally regret telling one person. I already have a child and I told this newly married girl that I work with that we were trying for number two. It was said in a conversation with several coworkers-all of whom i am fairly close to at work. I told them I was starting to get nervous b/c we had been trying for several months and it hasn't happened yet. She then proceeded to tell me that I need to relax, I am too stressed and to not think about it. She then started to ask me on a DAILY basis if I was pregnant yet! How is a person supposed to relax when you ask every day???
I tried to be rude about it and I actually said, come back to me when you and your husband are actually trying to get pregnant yourselves and then we can talk (totally out of character comment for me!) and she still didn't take the hint! Well, I am now on month 7 of trying and i am 36 yrs. old. My doctor said at my age we should start doing a work up to see if anything is going on. Hopefully I will have some answers soon.
Good luck to you. The only thing I can tell you is I try to avoid this person as much as I can. She works right across the hall from me so it is hard but I try. People are so rude sometimes!
