What expires before you get to use it?
I just had to throw out a half container of milk because it was expired, then realized we hardly ever drink the whole thing before it expires.

Definitely Milk..We don't use it often, but then we'll go on a spurt of using it alot so I buy a half gallon and once I buy it we never use it and it goes bad.
Also, dip. I make ranch dip and then forget about it and have to throw it out.

same here.
i actually just had to throw out hot dogs, b/c as they started to get hot, it smelt funny, and they fell apart in the pan 
thats what i get for trying to cook  
we dont get cold cuts either b/c DH cant eat them, and i dont eat them fast enough, so they always end up going bad before we finish them

Salad Dressing...I never get through all the bottles I buy.....and lettuce too.

Definitely milk, a lot of times bread...two people cannot eat a loaf of bread in a week! And sometimes, veggies that I forget about in the bottom of the fridge...ewwwww....

milk, fresh veggies....sometimes I buy them in anticipation of cooking, and then I don't cook!
Bread not so much, we freeze half the loaf to keep it fresh.
Leftovers...sometimes there are SO many, we end up thorwing them out (which I HATE)

definately fresh fruit and fresh vegetables....especially bagged salad and tomatoes
I am always starting a diet and I go out and buy all this healthy food and then 2 days later I am back to eating crap

Everything. We sometimes forget about certain foods to the point that I bought a whiteboard for the frig so that I know there is zucchini and pita bread in the frig buried beneath everything else!
