Had follow up appt with RE, got results back
Hello ladies!
We had our follow up appointment with our RE today to go over testing results & talk about a plan going forward.
DH's SA came back normal
My BW came back normal too
* FSH is 5.9 (normal range is 3-20)
* Estradiol is 38 (normal range is 25-75)
* Thyroid is normal
* Prolactin is normal
The genetics workup isn't back yet, but should be in next week. Keeping fingers crossed that there are no issues that come up. He said approx 90% don't have issues.
Also talked about HSG results. I told him how awful it was  The good news:
* Tubes are open now
* May have been blockage or could have been muscle spasm - don't really know answer to that (I'd like to think it was an actual blockage)
Bottom line is the dx is "unexplained IF" - which of course has its good & bad points.
But he said the best words I've heard yet in this process - he doesn't see any reason that we won't be successful in our journey for a 
So .... as long as the genetics testing comes back normal, the plan is a Clomid Check after AF arrives and then we move forward towards an IUI.
I'm soooooooooooo happy to have a plan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the dust!
Part of me thinks I'd like more of a "real dx" but then at the same time, I know its probably better to not have too many issues to fix.
RE seemed so confident that we'd get our it made me so happy

I remember when my RE said that at our consult.. I was so  that when I left, I felt like I was pregnant already!!

IT is one of those things that are so bittersweet, unexplained if. The good news: your DH swimmers are normal, your tubes are clear and you are in the hadns of a doctor that will setup a regimen specifically for you and DH. Good luck!!!

I am unexplained IF too. While it can be frustrating since there's nothing to "fix", it is nice to have a plan. Good luck!!
