Went to my new doc today...
I really liked her and we talked about TTC. She also took a lot of blood to test for my previous high risk issues-- so, maybe for this pregnancy, I won;t be high risk . Not like it made a difference in my uneventful previous pregnancy, but I guess mentally it makes a difference.
I also discussed progesterone with her-- due to my short LP, and the fact I had two chemicals, then used progesterone to keep the pregnancy last time. She said that I could take it if I wanted, but it probably was a chromosonal thing that caused the miscarriages-- even if it did happen twice in a row. Also that progesterone isn't always needed to treat LP deficiency-- it's just one tactic but there is nothing scientific to prove that is the treatment which is why in my case, it's totally elective-- at least at this point. I decided to try on my own for a couple months, before doing progesterone again since I didn't like how it made me feel.
Anyway-- just wanted to share my doc's opinion. Going to officially start next month, and continue using OPKs to get on track until then...
Baby dust to all!

IMO if shes giving you the option of progesterone i would do it in a second. if theres even a CHANCE it could prevent a chemical or m/c why wouldn't you?? i know its not the most pleasant thing (been on suppositories, crinone gel, and PIO injections so ive done my share) but besides being unpleasant it doesnt actually hurt anything, it can only prevent a problem before it occurs.
obviously this is only IMO, but why wait for something bad to happen if you have any inclination that progesterone is the issue?

I totally felt that way initially too-- but, the last time I was trying for 6 months, had the two chemicals, and was in a different place. I figured I would give it one shot myself and see what happened since she didn't feel that the progesterone was the absolute reason why I kept the pregnancy the last time.
I just figured it was worth a shot to see what happened naturally based on the info she gave me. She's a bit more progressive than my last doc.
