so... i dont really have a topic for this
so dh and i were going to put off ttc this month because if it happened the edd would be only a week for before his brothers wedding and we are all in their wedding and well im beyond excited and dont want to miss it for the world i get another sister that day!  i dont have any sisters but my SILs are just as good if not better then real sisters. so i didnt stock up on OPKs. but last min i decided i should have gotten them just to make sure my cycles are consistent. so i decided to buy cbe digitals. but at the store i had to give my date of birth in order to purchase the tests? i felt so violated..lol i know sounds so stupid but i just thought it was kinda personal. anyway.. heres to this month flying by!
there was really not much of a point to this topic... but has anyone else been asked for their DOB to buy an OPK?
oh and another ?
can i just buy the sticks to put into the digital reader now that i spent $30 on this box (i didnt knw what i was buying)

That it really weird. I have never been asked my DOB when buying any TTC paraphernalia, nor do I think it is right to do so. WTH?!!

i was a KMart... i was so caught off guard. i said to the lady.. WHAT?!? and shes like i need your DOB. so i responded to.. am i not old enough to buy those? and she didnt respond and just asked me for my DOB a second time. at that point i was totally embarrassed there was a line so i just gave it to her. but i really wanted to know what the reasoning behind it was

That's strange! I bought those same ones at Walgreens two weeks ago and they didn't ask me.
And, as far as I know, you can't buy the sticks and keep the digital thing. But, if I'm wrong let me know b/c that would be cheaper!

That's never happened to me... I mean it makes no sense. Is it illegal to buy TTC stuff if you're under a certain age???

Honestly that's what I thought till I realized she was putting my date of birth in the register computer and if she didn't it wouldn't allow her to continue with my purchase

Wow so weird about the DOB thing! Also not sure about the sticks, I dont think they sell them separately which is a freaking joke! I tried googling and looking for them one day and did not find them and some girls on this board said they same thing. Booo

So weird! And no there aren't refill sticks for the cartridge, have to buy a new box every time. You can get the 20pk on amazon for like 25 bucks with free shipping most of the time though.
