vaginally temping?
Who here does it? Sorry if TMI. I have been temping orally for about 4mths now and I dont see a clear O day even though FF confirms it but with dotted red lines. Is temping vaginally more accurate?

So, was there are particular reason you changed? Were you temps erratic while doing it orally?

yes my temps were erratic doing it orally. also i found i was much more likely to fall back asleep with it in my mouth as opposed to... down there.

Ah Yes, it would be kind of hard to fall asleep with something inserted...down there

I temped this way, and found it to be very accurate. Dont insert the thermometer 'up' as if it was a tampon. just put it in the very front, near the clitoris, sorry for the graphic version.

yikes... i guess ive been doing it wrong. i like put the tip in le opening vagine.
ETA: no im not crazy - i actually did follow the directions from FF... here's what it says:
To take your temperature vaginally, just insert the tip of the thermometer into your vagina in the morning and record your temperature as usual.

I read on FF its more accurate and if you have big changes in your temp you should consider doing it that way
Research your basal thermometer not all are able to be used down there. The one I got said its not

Yes, you're right. The one I got (from Amazon) says it can be used 3 ways...and lets just say I dont want to try the third way  The furthest I'll go is in the va jay jay lol

hehe, I suppose you could put it 'in', but I never did, and got accurate temps everyday.
