yet another metformin question
can metformin affect AF? i usually have near perfect 28 day cycles and this month AF came 3 days early  i started metformin on wed night and starting spotting on thurs.......are these 2 related?

it can def affect AF, but thats usually after using it for a while. being on it for a few days really shouldnt have any effect since you really need 3 months on it to see real benefits.

thanks :) i guess i'm confused......i thought metformin was primarily a diabetic medication that helped regulate insulin levels  or is it used for multiple purposes? sorry for so many questions......i would be so lost without these boards!
