Where can I buy challah?
So wanting to make that baked french toast. They didn't have it at the bakery, do regular suprmarkets have it? I've never seen it

fairway has it. so does whole foods.
I know there is a fairway in plainview, not sure if that helps you.
some regular supermarkets do have it though.
it's an oblong braided looking bread.
you could also use a brioche, or like I did, a panettone.

sadly no they are not on long island. this is one of the best supermarkets. always visit one when i see my brothers and sister - n-laws

supermarkets usually have a limited supply and i tend to find it on the bread aisle on the bottom shelf tucked away. I love the one from Trader Joes.
