Ovidrel & Ins related Ques
I am just full of questions today so please bear with me. Dr B office called in Ovidrel for me today from RVC pharmacy since they deliver. My ins did not cover it but Freedom Fertility did. However since Freedom wouldn't be able to get it to me until tomorrow I had to pay out of pocket $90 & Freedom said they would reimburse me once I fax the receipt over to them. Anyone have any experience with this? I really hope I get my money back.

I don't have experience with that specific situation, but I have a lot of experience with Freedom Fertility and they are VERY reliable! I am sure they will follow through with what they say, just stay on top of it!
If you need the ovidrel tonight, I assume Femara is all you needed and you are ready to trigger! Congrats!!

Yeah, I have the same question. What is Freedom Fertility? Is it something like a supplemental insurance for fertility?

Something similar. They help aleviate some expenses, especially if you have to pay for meds out of pocket. Luckily my insurance covers fertility meds, so I only had to pay the copay $25 for Ovidrel and Gonal.

Follistim which is something similar to Gonal F costs $800 for 900 IUs froom Metro pharmacy in the city and it's considered a bargain at this price! I need to look into Freedom Fertility.

Re: Ovidrel & Ins related Ques
I better start using freedom! I've been paying over $100 out of pocket for Ovridel through Kraupner's, b/c my insurance doesn't cover it.

Right and since Freedom is next day as opposed to same day, it's a good idea to order it at the beginning of your cycle knowing you will need it eventually, rather than wait till you need it that night and have no choice!

can you order it yourself or do you need the dr office to order for you?

Dr.B's office calls it in. If there is a next cycle (which hopefully there won't be!! ) have them call it into freedom when you go for CD3 monitoring... that way you just have it!
