I have questions for the experts out there..need help/advice
Ok, I went off pill in October...last month i took an ovulation test just to see when I Ovulate...it was day 17 in my cycle...
and the month prior my cycle was 35 days long...
When i got my period in december, my prior cycle was 32 days long...
Anyway, i decided to start testing with the okp last night, it came out negative...this morning i got a weird feeling on my side..so i took another okp, and it came out positive...(keep in mind i have the test with the lines, not the smiley face)..so today i'm only day 12 in my cycle...is it really possible i could be about to O???? when last month i got a positive OKP at day 17? Also, now i'm panicking because i have not bd since my last period. If i bd tonight .do i still have a chance?..I'm tempted to go out and buy one of those smiley tests, just to be certain.
Any advice is appreciated..and sorry, i don't know any of the ttc lingo.

yes
it does seem a little early for Oing based on your average cycle length but it might still be messed up from coming off BC.... so i would  for the next 3 days... and i would probably keep testing with the OPKs for another few days just to make sure...

I always O on the early side - CD 13 or 14, it's totally within the normal range. If you have a positive OPK today at CD12 you might not O until CD 13 or 14.
BD tonight and whenever you can for the next few nights, and you'll be all set!

I think if you got the positive opk today then you didnt miss it at all! opks tell you when you're about to O..so if you BD tonight and tomorrow you'll be right on target!

i took another opk test, and again it came out positive...so weird..i'm a little upset because i wanted to try for a girl, so i was going to be a few days before ovulation...Oh well....what's meant to be is meant to be.
I also had some weird cramps earlier..if they were O cramps, is it normal to get O cramps BEFORE you are acutally ovuatling? Anyone know?

its normal to have the surge for several hours or more... and you have the surge before you O... so youre still ok for

Its not unusual.
My first month off BC I O'd at day 14.
Month 2 I O'd at day 10.

I don't think its weird or strange! And hey,...if the line is not as dark as one you might get in the future then trying for your girl would be helped out right? Good Luck!
