I went there - I had a mixed experience, but overall it was positive, and now I have a 4 month old girl thanks to them. There was a receptionist there that I could NOT stand. I have a feeling a lot of the staff there doesn't care for her either because they asked me to write a letter complaining about her.

They have an excellent track record though and that was what was most important to me. Dr. Cohen is funny. The condom thing broke when he did one of my sono's while going thru IVF and he said that when the condom breaks it's a sure sign that you'll get pregnant . He ended up being right!

Mixed reviews from me as well. I was with them for a year and a half before switching practices. I was initially with Dr Rosenfeld for my IUI's then switched to Dr Chu for IVF. I saw all the Dr's there - my favorites were Dr Rosenfeld and Dr Hershlag. Overall the experience wasn't terrible but I just didn't feel I was getting the one on one service that my case needed (that was a Dr Chu issue and they make in impossible to switch primary Dr's within the practice).

I too have had mixed reviews. I loved Dr. Scholl had a odd experience with Dr. Rosenfeld saw Herslog only once. I loved the staff there, the nurses were really nice and friendly. I loved the woman who did the billing. I ended up switching to a different doctor however if I didn't hear about this one doctor I think I would have stayed at North Shore but Im glad I switched.

I am seeing Dr. Rosenfeld

This is our first IUI cycle and first time with an RE; we absolutely love him!! He was recommended by my GYN. He is straight forward and caring.

What I like about the clinic is that there are more than one doctor. Although I only see Dr. Rosenfeld right now.(He was involved in the IVF of the first child conceived through IVF in Long Island (1988) . He only does IUI's but if you need to do IVF there are other doctors is the practice that do them. As far as I have been told (and have read in posting here) they are great as well. The good thing about it (I think) is that if Dr. Rosenfeld goes on vacation or has a family emergency you won't loose your cycle or have to travel to another location if he is not there (which has not been a case at all so far), but another doctor will be able to assist. That fact is especially important to me when we are spending so much money on the IUI with injectables.

Unlike the other ladies, I have not encountered anything I dislike about the clinic. I never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen, aside from the initial visit. The nurses are very caring and the billing person as well. The receptionist has been great! Dr. Rosenfeld has made me feel very comfortable and positive about the IUI. He won't push anything for the sake of making money.

I have not had any other RE so I don't have a base of comparison. I think that it depends on your personality as well; some people feel Dr. Rosenfeld doesn't have much of a bedside manner, but to me that doesn't matter much (even though I have not encountered that with him) because what is most important to me are results and getting the best.

I truly love Dr.Rosenfeld so far! I have been seeing him since the end of October.

Hi. I see Dr. Rosenfeld and I adore him. I have also had Dr. Cohen and Dr. Chu when my iuis fell on a weekend and they were both nice as well. Good Luck!

I have had a successful IUI with NSLIJ and I loved my Dr. there.

I had a pretty horrible experience with Dr. Chu. She had ZERO bedside manner nor any compassion. I felt like just another number with her. Didn't even get a "good morning" at 7 a.m. on a Monday morning while sitting in a paper gown after waiting for a good 30 minutes. She dismissed my questions and couldn't care less about finding the cause of my infertility. Made me feel like an idiot on more than one occasion. Probably the worst doctor I have ever worked with.

That said, the other doctors did my IUIs, and they were all very nice. The office staff was great, except for Dr. Chu's secretary.

Liked Rosenfeld and his approach for IUI. Met Cohen for a few IUI's. Was always nice and friendly. Had an IVF consult with Scholl and RAN FOR THE HILLS. Not to mention I never really felt like any nurse/office staff knew who I was (nor cared to) except when they had to collect their co-pay.
Needless to say, I was not successful there but was elsewhere.

I went to NSUH and had Dr Rosenfeld do my IUI and now I have 6 month old .

I didn't like Dr Chu at all- I had b/c Dr R was on vac.

My sister went there 10 and 8 years ago had Dr Herslag and dr scholl (IVF) - she has a and now

I had Dr. Chohen. I love him. He is so very nice. All of the doctors were nice and the nurses were phenominal. Herzog's ended up getting me pregnant.

I used them back in 2008 and got pregnant with my first IVF cycle. I have nothing but good things to say I liked all the Drs there and never had any kind of bad experience or isues while being a pateint there...

We just started working with Dr. Hershlag and have only had our consultation appointment so far. We liked him a lot!

I have seen all of them dr rosenfeld did my laprascopic surgery and 4 iuis then I was on to ivf with scholl. I got pregnant with first ivf now just had a failed frozen cycle and I'm just starting another fresh. I love the nurse there. They all were amazing when my dad died in the middle of my IVF Dr Herschlag was able to used his network of "collegues" to have some of my monitoring done in FLorida

I LOVE it there. Dr hershlag was my doctor and I also saw dr scholl a bunch of times. Got pregnant on my first round of ivf/Pgd and now have 9 weeks old twin boys!!
